On my journey to take control of my health and my fitness, as well as my weight, i have learned a number of things. Here are the top 11 of them.
1 -Fat doesn’t make you fat.
All that low-fat, fat-free stuff? It tastes bad and all the chemicals in it are BAD for you!
2 – The scale is just a number!
You are more then that. It is good for trending (up, or down) but the number itself is… meaningless. I weigh 10. I weight Q. I weight Sigma. These are all equivalent in meaning…
3 – Learn to cook!
Its how you get the best food, the cheapest way. Also, it is totally totally fun!
4 – Eat your vegetables. No really.
I didn’t quite used to like them as much as I do now. But I branched out (haha) and tried new ones and they are AWESOME
5 – No matter how strong you get or how much you have arm muscles, sometimes you will still need help opening a jar.
And sometimes you will just need the major tool to help.
6 – Don’t let fear stop you from trying something new and getting what you want
7. Change what you don’t like
While events in your past may have affected how and why you eat, you are in charge of the choices you make. IF you think your weight is a problem, it is YOUR problem.
8 – There is no magic pill, just work
9 – Find something you like doing. If you don’t like it you won’t do it.
10 – Nobody is perfect so don’t get down if you have a bad day/week/month. Just get back up and on track.
Once they sit down and shut up, get back on track, today is a new day. Tomorrow is a new day too.
11 – When you start losing weight, you lose your boobs first ladies
Oops 🙂
